When we have a thought it tends to be either a positive or a negative, and over a period of time the mind stores these thoughts in the subconscious resulting in a Predominantly positive or Predominately negative mind. Positive minds are happier, confident, motivated and have higher self esteem. Minds that are predominately negative aren't confident or motivated and have low self esteem and low moods. Just having the awareness to see this process can be so liberating and can set you on the path to self cultivation. So how can I change this? One simple way of challenging this behavior is to replace the negative thought with 2 positives instantly. Over a period of time the mind will become predominately positive. Simple but not easy. Stick with it until it becomes a habit.
